"Dżem" 40th birthday

They combined rock, blues, reggae, country. They recorded songs that both connoisseurs and Sunday music listeners love. They were the first discovery of the Jarocin Festival. They performed at probably all major and most of the smaller festivals in Poland. They went not only to European countries but also North America and even Asia. They stood on one stage with the Rolling Stones, Clapton, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC / DC and their songs were performed by over fifty bands, including Metallica :). By consistently doing their own, they survived the fashion and lack of interest - not to mention the support - of the central media. They also survived tragedies in the form of two fatal accidents - a drug and a car accident. All this and only in forty years, because in 2019 it will be so much since in 1979 they decided to completely devote to music and bet on their own songs, not to rewrite songs from Poland and the world. It was a fateful decision that we still feel today ...

For the concert on the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Dżem invites you on 30 March 2019 to Spodek Arena. It is a unique venue for the band - here they played for the first time in 1980 and here they celebrated its birthday many times. Dżem does not have to wait for the round jubilees to fill such a big object, but maybe he wants to, because he likes it. Anyway, every next jubilee is more impressive and demands more impressive celebrations ...
