On 14 February 2027, Katowice’s Spodek Arena will be filled with the sound of some of the most romantic stories ever told through music. SILESIA IN LOVE is a special Valentine’s edition of the Film Music Gala – an evening created for couples, cinema lovers and everyone wishing to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a truly extraordinary setting.
On one stage, the Silesian Philharmonic Choir and Symphony Orchestra will come together under the baton of Maciej Sztor, taking the audience on a journey through some of cinema’s most beautiful love stories. The evening will be filled with melodies of tenderness, longing, passion and powerful emotion – music that has accompanied unforgettable encounters, farewells, first kisses and feelings capable of changing everything.
That night, it will be music itself that speaks of what is often hardest to express in words. The most beautiful love ballads and film themes, presented in symphonic arrangements, will take on an entirely new dimension through the power of the orchestra and choir, as well as the spectacular acoustic and visual scale of the performance.
Spodek will be filled not only with sound, but also with light, multimedia and spectacular visuals, creating a deeply romantic atmosphere and offering a chance to step away from everyday life for one unforgettable evening. Monumental symphonic sound will meet the intimacy of the most personal emotions, while familiar melodies will allow audiences to relive the stories that once moved them on the big screen.
SILESIA IN LOVE is more than a Valentine’s concert. It is an evening of closeness, shared memories and emotions that find their fullest expression through music.
On 14 February, Spodek will become the most romantic concert venue in Silesia – and the most beautiful declaration of love that evening will come from the stage.
